Key Responsibilities

• Pickup & Loading
• Collect goods from warehouses, hubs, or retail stores; load and secure them in the van to avoid transit damage.
• Verify items against delivery notes or invoices before departure.
• Delivery Execution
• Deliver items to assigned locations within scheduled timelines.
• Acquire signatures, OTPs, or digital confirmations. Handle COD payments and submit cash securely
• Route Planning & Navigation
• Plan efficient delivery routes considering traffic and customer time preferences.
• Use GPS or delivery scheduling tools and adjust as needed for delays or road conditions.
• Customer Interaction & Service
• Greet customers professionally and courteously.
• Handle delivery issues like wrong addresses or unavailable recipients by escalating to operations.
• Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance
• Conduct daily pre-trip checks (fuel, lights, tires, brakes).
• Maintain cleanliness, report mechanical issues, and follow safety standards.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain logs for distance traveled, deliveries made, fuel usage, returns, and any discrepancies.
• Update delivery status electronically or on manual sheets; submit paperwork punctually.
