What Youll Do As a UI/UX Designer?
You will be responsible for understanding user needs and business requirements, and translating them into intuitive, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing designs for web and mobile applications. You will create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience from concept to launch.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand user requirements, define product goals, and translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications that adhere to user-centered design principles.
Conduct user research (e.g., interviews, surveys) and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
Create and iterate on wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps.
Develop high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Establish and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistency across products.
Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, design best practices, accessibility standards, and emerging technologies.
Effectively communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers and stakeholders.
Work closely with developers to ensure the accurate implementation of designs and provide support during the development process.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Design (e.g., Interaction, Graphic, Visual Communications), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), BE/B. Tech/BCA, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in UI/UX design for web and/or mobile applications.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript capabilities and limitations to inform design decisions.
Excellent visual design skills with a strong sensibility for typography, color, layout, and iconography.
Ability to create wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, empathetic, and eager to learn and solve complex user problems.
A strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design process, case studies, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs is mandatory for consideration.
