The Territory Sales Executive/Manager is responsible for driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and expanding market presence within an assigned geographical area. They develop and execute sales strategies, achieve revenue targets, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Identify and target potential customers within the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Generate leads, follow up on prospects, and close sales deals.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Provide product demonstrations and address customer inquiries effectively.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Market Analysis & Strategy
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Develop action plans to improve sales performance and gain market share.
- Identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion.
- Sales Reporting & Target Achievement
- Monitor sales performance and track progress against targets.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.
- Collaborate with the sales team to optimize business growth strategies.
- Coordination & Compliance
- Work closely with marketing, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow company policies and industry regulations in all sales activities.
- Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of sales experience (preferably in FMCG, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or B2B sales).
- Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Market Knowledge: Understanding of the local market, competition, and customer behavior.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and achieve sales goals.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to Travel: Frequent travel within the assigned territory.
