As a Tele Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing counseling and support to prospective students who are interested in pursuing further education at Chandigarh University. You will be the first point of contact for these individuals, and your role will be crucial in guiding them through the universitys programs, admissions process, and answering any questions or concerns they may have.
Key responsibilities:
1. Conducting outbound and inbound calls to prospective students to provide information about the universitys programs, admissions process, and other relevant details.
2. Providing counseling and support to individuals who are seeking guidance on their educational and career paths.
3. Building and maintaining relationships with prospective students by addressing their inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
4. Collaborating with the admissions team to ensure a smooth transition for prospective students from inquiry to enrollment.
5. Keeping detailed and accurate records of all interactions and counseling sessions with prospective students.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelors degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field is preferred.
2. Previous experience in counseling, customer service, or telesales is an advantage.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey information and provide support to individuals.
4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
5. Ability to work independently and in a team, with a high level of motivation and empathy.
