We are looking for an experienced and proactive Team Lead – IT Recruitment to manage a team of recruiters and drive end-to-end talent acquisition for technology roles. This position requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of IT hiring trends, and the ability to build and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top tech talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT recruiters to achieve hiring targets and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding for IT and tech-related positions.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies using job portals, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, and other innovative channels.
- Coordinate with hiring managers and technical teams to understand role requirements and establish effective hiring plans.
- Track team performance, recruitment metrics, and pipeline health using ATS or recruitment dashboards.
- Conduct regular team meetings, training, and performance reviews.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for key technical positions including developers, DevOps, QA engineers, data analysts, and IT support roles.
- Ensure excellent candidate experience and employer branding throughout the recruitment process.
- Stay updated on industry hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and recruitment tools/technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in IT recruitment, with at least 1–2 years in a team leadership role.
- Strong understanding of technology roles, skills, and hiring methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Experience using ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Dice, or similar).
- Ability to manage multiple roles and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a recruitment agency or high-growth tech company.
- Familiarity with technical assessments or coding platforms (e.g., HackerRank, Codility).
- Certifications in recruitment or HR (e.g., AIRS, SHRM, LinkedIn Certified Recruiter) are a plus.
