We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Taxation Specialist to join our team. As the Lead Taxation Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of taxation within our organization. Your primary focus will be on ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, minimizing tax liabilities, and maximizing tax benefits. Responsibilities : Tax Planning : Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize our companys tax position while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Compliance : Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure that our company remains compliant with all applicable tax requirements. Tax Reporting : Prepare and review tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other filings, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Tax Audits : Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, working to resolve issues efficiently and minimize tax exposure. Research and Analysis : Conduct tax research and analysis to support tax planning initiatives, identify tax-saving opportunities, and mitigate tax risks. Training and Development : Provide guidance and training to team members on tax-related matters to enhance their understanding and effectiveness in tax compliance and planning. Collaboration : Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and operations teams, to ensure alignment of tax strategies with business objectives. Risk Management : Identify and assess tax risks associated with business activities and transactions, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks. Special Projects : Lead or participate in special tax projects as assigned by management, such as M&A transactions, restructuring activities, or tax optimization initiatives. Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement in tax processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
