Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:


  • 7-8+ years of experience in managing DLP/Proxy platform in large enterprise
  • Act as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) and escalation point for DLP/Proxy platform and associated services.
  • Fine-tuning of DLP policies, rules, and workflows to prevent unauthorized data exfiltration.
  • Experience in managing DLP technologies such as Symantec (Broadcom), Forcepoint, Netskope etc.
  • Monitor and analyze DLP events across network, endpoint, email, and cloud channels.
  • Work with business units and security teams to define sensitive data types and risk tolerances.
  • Perform deep-dive investigations of DLP alerts and coordinate with incident response when required.
  • Ensure DLP tools are integrated with SIEM, ticketing, and logging systems.
  • Continuously assess and refine DLP configurations to minimize false positives/negatives.
  • Collaborate with compliance, privacy, and audit teams to align DLP policies with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, DPDP Act).
  • Generate dashboards and reports for management, including incident trends and policy effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles.
