The Senior Manager - CA Fresher will play a key role in assisting the finance team with financial reporting, analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulations. As a newly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), this position provides the opportunity to work closely with senior finance professionals and take on leadership responsibilities within the finance and accounting department. The Senior Manager will also be involved in strategic financial decision-making, improving processes, and supporting organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, etc.) and legal requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports for stakeholders.
- Taxation:
- Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST, income tax, TDS, etc.
- Support in tax audits and timely submission of tax returns.
- Monitor tax implications of corporate decisions and ensure tax efficiency.
- Audit & Compliance:
- Assist in conducting internal and external audits to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Liaise with auditors to provide necessary documentation and information.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial procedures.
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis.
- Perform detailed financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Provide actionable insights for cost control, process improvements, and profitability.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving financial processes, controls, and reporting systems.
- Implement best practices in financial management and accounting procedures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Team Leadership:
- Guide and mentor junior finance team members in daily tasks and projects.
- Assist in developing training materials and ensuring continuous development of the team.
- Lead by example in fostering a culture of integrity, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Other Duties as Assigned:
- Participate in special projects related to financial systems and strategic business initiatives.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, accounting regulations, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
- Fresher with no prior experience, or up to 1-2 years of experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and financial modeling tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
