General Summary
The Senior Full Stack Web Developer role will be reporting into the Director of Web Services within our Global Marketing team.
You will work hands-on with the technical toolset and development of our clients owned websites for front-end and back-end development. You will be responsible for building and maintaining web solutions and features with best-in-class code that are beautiful, user friendly and will enable the Marketing team to easily leverage our website to drive revenue. You will keep up with the latest web trends, ensuring our sites are secure, compliant, modern, and ensuring that we are compliant with WCAG AA 2.1 standards.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee our full-stack website toolset, including WordPress, GitHub
Manage all website back-end development (Dev, Stage and Prod) and oversee code releases of all sizes
Perform front-end updates to our websites including content, images and CSS changes
Partner with others in marketing to create digital solutions that will generate revenue, improve tracking and analytics, and increase site engagement
Build and iterate on WordPress features and functionality
Establish dynamic landing pages and custom content types that service multiple digital channels
Continuously maintain or improve our site performance, staying on top of any technical issues that could impact SEO
Integrate our site with a variety of Marketing tools through APIs
Interface with cross functional teams to launch new initiatives, sometimes integrating with our product APIs
Oversee website security, maintain patches and upgrades to mitigate vulnerabilities
Utilize version control tools such as GitHub when partnering with other developers
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
5 + years of experience in a developer or engineer role creating technical web solutions
Expert in HTML, PHP, MySQL, CSS, JavaScript, and Express Node.js
Expert WordPress development experience
Expert in MySQL and SQL Server
Experience managing hosted website infrastructure, including server settings, security tools, and cache
Strong understanding of APIs and webhooks
Hands-on experience working with JSON, RESTful APIs, SOAP, OAuth
Comfortable developing custom WordPress child themes
Familiar with leveraging and customizing WordPress plug-ins
Familiar with how Marketing teams utilize websites for demand generation
Understanding of what makes for a healthy website at top performance
Strong knowledge of website UX best practices and accessibility requirements for WCAG AA 2.1 compliance
Working knowledge of Photoshop and other image manipulation tools
