Key Responsibilities for Senior civil site engineer:

Qualifications:

·       Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

·       Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on construction project execution.

·       Proven experience in managing large-scale engineering projects.

·       Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

·       Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools. 

·       Project Planning and Management:

o  Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. 

o  Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and allocated resources. 

o  Manage and control project costs, identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns. 

o  Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders. 

·       On-site Execution and Supervision:

o  Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring they are carried out according to plans and specifications. 

o  Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other relevant parties. 

o  Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to identify and resolve any issues. 

o  Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental requirements. 

·       Technical Expertise and Problem Solving:

o  Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site personnel. 

o  Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications. 

o  Troubleshoot and resolve any engineering or construction-related problems that arise. 

o  Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and relevant regulations. 

·       Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:

o  Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. 

o  Facilitate regular project meetings and progress updates. 

o  Manage and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise. 

·       Quality Control and Assurance:

o  Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle. 

o  Conduct quality checks on materials, workmanship, and completed work. 

o  Ensure that all work meets the required quality standards and specifications.
