Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, security audits, and penetration tests on networks, systems, and applications.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with frameworks like ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc.
• Monitor systems for suspicious activity, coordinate incident response, and support breach investigations.
• Evaluate and deploy security tools—firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEMs, encryption systems, etc.
• Provide security awareness training to employees and educate teams on threat prevention.
• Deliver risk mitigation recommendations and collaborate with stakeholders to establish improvements.
• Prepare and present detailed security reports for management, compliance, or external clients.
• Act as a trusted advisor, often in client‑facing or multi‑department collaborations, helping align security initiatives with business goals.
