Job Summary
A dynamic and target-driven professional responsible for generating revenue by acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships. This role encompasses the full sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure—while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and reach out to potential clients via networking, cold calling, email outreach, and industry events.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong customer relationships to facilitate repeat business and referrals.
- Presentations & Consultative Selling: Understand customer needs and deliver persuasive pitches and product demonstrations that align with their business objectives.
- Negotiation & Deal Closure: Handle client negotiations, formalize proposals, and finalize contracts effectively.
- Sales Strategy & Reporting: Track metrics, forecast performance, report progress, and provide market intelligence for strategic improvements.
- Market Research: Monitor competitor actions, industry trends, and customer preferences to inform sales tactics.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Partner with marketing, product, and customer support teams to enhance customer experience and refine offerings.
- Event Representation: Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to generate leads and promote the company.
Sales Consultant–Specific Duties (if applicable)
- Sales Process Optimization: Analyze the sales pipeline and identify areas for improvements and efficiencies.
- Strategy Development: Formulate effective sales strategies and performance benchmarks.
- Coaching & Training: Provide guidance, training workshops, and coaching for sales teams to enhance performance.
- Compensation & Planning: Design fair incentive plans and assist with recruitment to build an effective sales team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience: Demonstrated ability or experience meeting/exceeding sales quotas. Mid-level roles may require 0–3 years; senior roles typically 5+.
- Core Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and CRM competency.
- High resilience, self-motivation, and adaptability to changing conditions.
- Teamwork and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Additional Assets:
- Foreign language fluency, especially for international markets.
- Certifications or training in sales techniques or platforms (e.g., CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) are a plus.
