We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team! As an SDR, you’ll be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, engaging with potential customers, and setting up sales opportunities for our Account Executives. You’ll be the first point of contact in our sales funnel, helping to drive revenue and build relationships in the [SaaS industry or specific niche, e.g., marketing automation, cybersecurity, fintech].
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, a strong communicator, and thrives in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other sales channels.
- Research target companies to identify key decision-makers and tailor outreach accordingly.
- Engage potential customers and educate them on the value of our SaaS product.
- Schedule product demos and meetings for Account Executives.
- Follow up with inbound leads and nurture them through the early sales stages.
- Maintain CRM records (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) by tracking interactions, pipeline progress, and lead status.
- Collaborate with marketing to optimize outreach campaigns and lead generation efforts.
- Meet or exceed KPIs (calls, emails, booked meetings, and qualified opportunities).
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and our SaaS product’s value proposition.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 0-2 years in sales, business development, or a related role (SaaS experience is a plus).
- Education: Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable with rejection.
- Ability to learn and articulate complex software solutions.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools).
- Goal-oriented with a hunter mentality.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in SaaS sales or B2B sales.
- Familiarity with lead generation tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo, etc.).
- Understanding of sales methodologies (SPIN, MEDDIC, or Challenger Sales).
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
