Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, or API testing
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and build comprehensive test strategies
• Execute test plans and identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Continuously improve test coverage and automation efficiency
• Maintain and scale test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
• Conduct performance and load testing as needed
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and strategies, proposing improvements where relevant

Requirements:

• Solid experience with test automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or C#
• Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Attention to detail and a passion for quality

Nice to Have:

• Experience with mobile test automation (Android/iOS)
• Knowledge of performance/load testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or k6
• Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
