Engineer / Senior Engineer Product Testing and Development ( Electronics and/or mechanical)


Role & responsibilities


Development:

To Design, develop & productionize the Automotive products / components as per Customer Needs (explicit & emerging)
To understand the customer requirements, finalization of specifications, designing, prototype development etc.
To Plan and execute the Design and Verification Plan, to validate the design inputs and required functional outputs, in compliance to global quality standards and clients requirements
Testing:

Requires PCB design and component selection as per the given inputs
Requires PLC programming
Requires deep understanding of Digital, RF and Analog Fundamental, Design for Test and Manufacturing Concepts
Has to Read and troubleshoot using electronic schematics to component level.
Repair the PCBs or subassemblies as per the requirement
Fuel calibration with mechanical component or required electronic components
Requires Understanding on electrical & automation systems functions for installation, configuration, testing, commissioning
Disassembled various mechanical, electronic and plastic parts of POS units Reassemble, clean and test units.
Requires knowledge of IATF Documentations
Requires knowledge of ISO 14001 Documentations
Knowledge on carry out tests to ensure design outputs meets design inputs. (DVP)

Preferred candidate profile

Knowledge of Electronics, PCB design, PLC programming
Knowledge and experience of Testing of engines and vehicles, Chassis Dynamometer & Emission systems
CAD/UG Software/NX for product development
