Role Overview
Design, program, test, deploy, maintain PLC systems driving UCAM’s automation in manufacturing processes. Interface with mechanical, electrical, and operations teams to ensure smooth, reliable control systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Design ladder logic, structured text, or function block code for PLCs
• Integrate sensors, servos, actuators, HMIs with PLCs
• Commission / test PLC hardware and software
• Troubleshoot and debug control logic and machine faults
• Maintain and improve existing PLC systems
• Document design, wiring, diagnostics, user manuals
Qualifications & Skills
• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related
• 2–5 years experience in PLC programming / industrial automation
• Knowledge of Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, or equivalent
• Understanding of I/O, fieldbus protocols, HMI, SCADA
• Good problem-solving and team collaboration
Work Conditions
• On-site in factory / plant
• May require support or shift coverage during breakdowns
• Reporting to Electrical / Automation Lead.
