Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing server-side web application logic, developing back-end components, and connecting applications with third-party web services. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively to build secure, scalable, and high-performing web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable PHP code.
• Design and implement web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Develop and manage databases, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Keep up to date with the latest web development trends and best practices.
• Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to deliver projects on time.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer or in a similar backend role.
• Proficient in PHP, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, or Yii.
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery) is a plus.
• Experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and third-party API integrations.
• Understanding of security and performance optimization best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or containerization is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
