• Advance arrangement of medicine list of the OT patient.
• Indenting medicines through HIS.
• Providing proper drug information to Nurses if required.
• Assisting the Anaesthesiologist in theatre.
• Lead the Staffs inside the OT i.e. the operating team excluding Surgeons & Anaesthesiologist has to work as per his instructions.
• Patient safety management, shifting of patients safely.
• Preparation of QI & Duty roster.
• Equipment maintenance in OT. See to it that all the equipments are in perfect order before procedure.
• To see that the sterilisation procedure in CSSD for any OT linen, equipment is done as per the standard.
• Take hand over of the patients from Pre-Op Nurse, fill the required documents after surgery & give hand over the Post-Op Nurse.
• To carry out any other instruction given by OT Manager.
