Role & responsibilities
- Validate and reconcile timesheets, attendance records, and leave balances.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain payroll records and reports; ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Calculate and process employee deductions (benefits, garnishments, taxes, etc.).
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of data (new hires, terminations, salary changes, etc.).
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparing payroll-related reports for internal and external audits.
- Stay current on payroll regulations and industry best practices.
Preferred candidate profile
- Solid understanding of labor law, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
