Role: Mechanical Design Engineer

This is an entry-level opportunity to gain invaluable experience in the power systems industry. This position is responsible to create electrical schematics in CAD for a $1B business

Responsibilities:

• Develop electrical schematics for Schneiders energy management offer in North America
• Use Electrical CAD (SEE Electrical Expert) to compile the customer project documentation for MV and LV products
• Ensure compliance with ANSI/NEMA standards, codes, and customer requirements
• Coordinate with the project management team to assure projects are completed satisfactorily and on time
• Study technical drawings and specifications of electrical components to ensure that installation and operations conform to designs

Experience:

• 0-1 Years of experience in Electrical design
• SEE Electrical or equivalent tool experience
• Experience with offshore teams

Required Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Electrical engineering
• Knowledge of MV & LV switchboard/switchgear design, installation, and Application
• Familiarity with Relays & Its function.
• Knowledge of UL/IEC & ANSI standards
• Passionate to work in a competitive environment
• Ability to learn quickly and work as a team player
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills

Qualifications - External Qualification: BE (Mechanical Engineering ) or MTech (Mechanical Engineering)
