Job Description

Responsibilities:


  • Build an able team who cater to the IT ops requirements across locations
  • Lead the IT team and resolve challenges which the team faces. Come up with processes wherever needed to help run IT management smoothly.
  • Plan, design and document various systems including Desktops PCs, Laptops, Tablets and Software applications.
  • Ensure appropriate safety and security is implemented using firewalls and anti-viruses.
  • Set up centralized monitoring for Store systems and other IT assets.
  • Manage and improve service desk process for IT requests.
  • Make recommendations for new equipment and services to purchase.
  • Work with various vendors for procurement of IT assets and software licenses. Ensure procurement is tracked and assets are purchased / leased at best market prices. Work with Finance team to get the payments done.
  • Provide technical support to business users.
  • Maintain good communication with management on issues, tasks and projects.
  • Align team to provide rotating on call support during holidays.
  • Work with external service providers in case an external system fails. Follow up and get the issue fixed from the service provider.
  • Ensure head office and Stores run smoothly without any IT system failures.
  • Manage the Biometric & hardware Maintenance across all locations


Requirements:


  • Retail experience is mandatory At least 3 years
  • Total experience 5-6 years
  • Experience in working with ticketing tools such Jira Service Desk or ServiceNow or similar tools
  • Experience in leading a team of IT support engineers
  • Proven experience in showcasing continuous improvements
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes will be of added advantage
  • Stakeholder management with Operations
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
  • Any Graduate – BCA / B.Sc Computers / B.E/ MCA
