Role & responsibilities

• Operate and oversee automated and semi-automated seed packing machines.
• Set up machines for different seed types, ensuring accurate weight, packaging, and labeling.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to minimize downtime.
• Monitor the packing process to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with standards.
• Adjust machine settings to meet packaging specifications and optimize performance.
• Inspect finished seed packets to ensure proper sealing, labeling, and compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packing area, following safety and hygiene regulations.
• Record production data, report any issues, and coordinate with the maintenance team for major repairs.

Preferred candidate profile

• Prior experience operating machines in agriculture industry.
• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical.
• Knowledge of machine troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Understanding of seed handling, moisture control, and packaging standards.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
