ROLE OBJECTIVE:


Responsible for providing inputs to Merchandising team by understanding the product categories, product planning/inventory management, execute merchandise plans & support in accomplishing standard process as per the SOP.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Provide inputs based on the analysis conducted and implementation of MGDs inventory allocation strategies, merchandise assortment, and other related strategies.
• Monitor store category sales, identify sales trend and plan tools to increase financial performance for all merchandise.
• Conduct demand and sales forecasting on a monthly basis and review by analyzing data and MIS derived and suggest rectifications in physical inventory.
• Periodically monitor inventory and review the inventory holding in stores for assigned sub-category to aid decision making of stock requirement to maintain inventory levels.
• Analyze sales figures, customer’s reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs.

• Coordinate with Regional Merchandising team on a regular basis for the process implementation.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining planogram at retail levels as per given timelines.
• Develop supply strategies so that the stock outs can be minimized while the inventory turns are maximized.
• Execute product assortment strategies to meet customer demand and maximize sales and profits
• Provide guidance as and when required about selling patterns and the timing of future purchases to the Regional Merchandisers.
• Support and coordinate in providing training to merchandising team on report preparation and technical skill development.
