As an HR Intern, you will assist the HR team with various tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, internships, and general HR functions. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to the day-to-day operations of an HR department while supporting various HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing Candidates: Assist in finding potential candidates who match job requirements.
Screening: Help conduct initial interviews for entry-level positions.
Interview Scheduling: Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
Offer Documentation: Assist in collecting documents from candidates prior to offering them a job.
Offer Follow-up: Help track offer acceptances and confirm the start dates of new hires.
Onboarding Communication: Help send emails to new employees with necessary information for their first day.
New Hire Newsletter: Assist in sending a bi-monthly newsletter with company information to new hires.
Offer Release: Assist with issuing offer letters to selected interns.
Certificate Issuance: Help provide certificates to interns after completing their programs.
Attendance Management: Assist in maintaining accurate attendance records for interns.
Stipend Processing: Help calculate and process interns’ stipends based on their attendance and share data for approval.
Recruitment Updates: Help share daily updates on recruitment progress.
Onboarding Tracker: Assist in maintaining the onboarding tracker for new employees.
Open Position Tracker: Help update and share weekly reports on open job positions.
Temporary ID Card Dispatch: Assist with issuing temporary ID cards for new hires or contractors as requested.
Login ID Creation: Assist in coordinating with the MMT team to create login credentials for new employees.
Recharge Coordination: Help coordinate with the Finance team to ensure wallet recharges are done for employees.
MMT Wallet Management: Assist in troubleshooting issues related to MMT wallet usage.
Travel Reports: Assist with downloading and reviewing travel reports for HR/finance purposes.
Additional Notes
Communication: Ensure clear and timely communication with candidates, interviewers, and new hires to facilitate the recruitment and onboarding process.
MMT Coordination: Be proactive in ensuring smooth coordination with MMT and Finance teams for wallet recharges and troubleshooting.
Internships & Stipends: Assist with timely processing of stipend payments and certificate issuance for interns.
Temporary ID Cards: Ensure that temporary ID cards are promptly dispatched when requested.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: MBA (preferably with a focus in Human Resources, Management, or related fields).
Strong interest in HR and learning about recruitment and onboarding processes.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage deadlines.
Previous internship or volunteer experience in HR is a plus.
