Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our human resources team for a 6-month internship in Bangalore. This role is ideal for recent graduates or students seeking to gain practical experience in HR processes. You will collaborate with HR associates and managers to assist in various HR activities and gain insights into the HR dynamics of our organization.
Responsibilities
Daily Tasks:
- Employee Master Data: Update records for new joiners and existing employees, including joining dates and increments.
- Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews with candidates.
- Job Posting: Prepare and post job descriptions on various job portals.
- Interview Coordination: Source candidate profiles, set up interviews, and relay feedback.
- Snack Ordering: Create Slack polls for snack preferences and coordinate daily orders with vendors. Collect and maintain records of daily bills.
Monthly Tasks
- Admin Activities:
- Process monthly payments (e.g., Act Bill, Airtel, BESCOM, water cans, Livpure, Google Workspace, Zoho Sign) and follow up with the finance team for vendor payments.
- Update bills and order office supplies as needed.
- HR Activities:
- Prepare monthly payroll inputs and plan month-end celebrations.
Additional Responsibilities
- Onboarding: Help facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Training Coordination: Contribute to the coordination of training programs and employee orientation.
- Record Maintenance: Assist in maintaining employee records and updating HR databases.
- Employee Support: Handle basic employee inquiries and contribute to resolving employee issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the HR team to ensure smooth HR operations and effective communication across departments.
Qualifications
- Education: Recently graduated from a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience: Experience in HR or administrative roles (internships or coursework are a plus).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Initiative: A proactive approach to tasks and a desire to learn and grow in the HR field.
