Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic HR Operations Intern to join our Human Resources team. The intern will be involved in supporting various HR operational activities, contributing to a seamless employee experience, and gaining hands-on experience in HR processes such as onboarding, employee record management, HRIS (Human Resource Information System), and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, preparing job descriptions, and handling candidate communications.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Help maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system.
- Assist in managing employee benefits administration, including coordination with external vendors and responding to employee inquiries.
- Assist in preparing HR reports and presentations.
- Provide support in employee engagement initiatives and performance management processes.
- Handle HR inquiries and resolve basic HR-related queries.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining HR compliance documentation.
- Assist with exit process management, including conducting exit interviews and processing resignation paperwork.
- Perform any other HR operational tasks as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous internship or work experience in HR or Administration (not mandatory).
- Basic understanding of HRIS or HR tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices is beneficial.
