Role Overview

Design jigs, fixtures, and tooling to support manufacturing, assembly, and machining operations. Ensure designs optimize manufacturability, tolerance, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop fixture concepts, layouts, and mechanical designs

• Prepare 2D/3D models, CAD drawings

• Validate designs via tolerance analysis, load studies

• Collaborate with production, quality, and process engineers

• Iterate and improve fixtures after prototype / pilot usage

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related

• 2–4 years experience in fixture / tooling design

• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, etc.)

• Understanding of machining, assembly, and tolerances

• Attention to detail and communication skills
