Job Description

The Accounts Executive plays a pivotal role in managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the financial health of the organization. This position involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and collaborating with various departments to maintain accurate financial records.


Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Transactions Management: Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Record and reconcile financial transactions in the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting process by providing financial data and assisting in the preparation of forecasts.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Audit Support: Prepare necessary documentation and support internal and external audits.
  • Vendor and Client Relations: Manage relationships with vendors and clients, addressing any billing or payment issues promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: Certification in accounting (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the specific industry (e.g., manufacturing, retail, services) is advantageous.
