Engineer – Maintenance (Mechanical & Electrical)

Location: Gujarat plant (JBM)

Experience: 4–6 years in manufacturing maintenance

Role Summary:

Take responsibility for planned & breakdown maintenance of mechanical & electrical equipment in manufacturing units, ensuring high uptime and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute preventive maintenance schedules for presses, welders, conveyors, robotics (if applicable).

• Diagnose and fix mechanical/electrical faults; reduce MTTR (Mean Time To Repair).

• Maintain spare-parts inventory; track usage, costs and lead-times.

• Support installation and commissioning of new lines (expansion projects).

• Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless handover during shutdowns & maintenance windows.

• Generate maintenance logs, cost reports and KPIs (downtime, OEE improvements).

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• 4+ years experience in industrial or auto-components plant maintenance.

• Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, motor controls.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with predictive maintenance tools, condition monitoring systems.

• Exposure to digital maintenance tools or Industry 4.0 initiatives.
