Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in the design, sizing, and commissioning of AC Variable Frequency Drives, with a strong focus on application engineering and system integration.

Hands-on experience with drive systems from manufacturers such as Schneider Electric, ABB, Siemens, Danfoss, Yaskawa, or Vacon.

Proven track record in successful project execution from design to commissioning.

Experience in interfacing VFDs with PLCs (e.g., Siemens S7, Schneider Modicon) and other automation systems.

Strong understanding of electrical control circuits, power electronics, and motor control principles.

Role & responsibilities

Customer Requirements Analysis:

Engage with clients to understand their specific requirements related to AC drive systems.

Application Design & Engineering:

Design drive systems based on customer needs, ensuring system compatibility, efficiency, and reliability.

Select appropriate drive components (e.g., VFDs, motors, filters) from major suppliers (Schneider, ABB, Siemens, Danfoss, Vacon, Yaskawa).

Hardware Engineering & Integration:

Develop and design hardware components and sub-systems for VFD systems, ensuring correct integration with existing infrastructure.

Configure and interface drive systems with PLCs and other automation devices.

Commissioning & Site Support:

Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of drive systems at client sites.

Technical Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system schematics, wiring diagrams, and configuration manuals.

Create and deliver technical reports and updates to internal teams and clients.

Collaboration & Training:

Work closely with sales, project management, and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Provide training to clients and internal teams on the operation and maintenance of VFD systems.
