About the Role
This role directly contributes to designing and optimizing structural components for ePlane’s electric aircraft and UAV platforms. You’ll work on mechanisms, composite structures, landing gear subsystems, and aero-mechanical integrations.
Key Responsibilities
• Design structural components using SolidWorks / CATIA / Fusion 360.
• Develop 3D models, GD&T-compliant drawings & BOM documentation.
• Perform tolerance stack-up, DFM & DFA evaluations.
• Collaborate with aero, electrical, and propulsion teams for system-level integration.
• Run mechanical tests: vibration, endurance, load-testing, and fatigue cycles.
• Work with vendors to ensure manufacturability using CNC, composites & sheet-metal.
• Support prototyping, assembly & field testing phases

Required Skills
• Strong mechanical design foundation.
• Experience in UAV, aerospace, automotive, or robotics preferred.
• Understanding of materials (carbon fiber, aluminum alloys, composites).
• FEA knowledge (ANSYS/Siemens NX) is a bonus.
• Good documentation and rapid iteration mindset.
Salary Range
₹6 LPA – ₹14 LPA (based on experience & testing exposure)
