About the job
Key responsibilities:

1. Oversee the creative aspects of film and podcast production, including concept development and execution of the creative vision
2. Lead and inspire the cast and crew to bring out their best performances and contributions
3. Collaborate closely with writers, producers, and other team members to ensure that the final product aligns with Bluntly Streaming's vision and goals
4. Develop the visual style of productions, making decisions on-camera work, lighting, composition, and shot selection
5. Lead the planning and execution of all shooting aspects, including lighting, composition, camera movement, and shot selection
6. Operate cameras and direct the camera crew to capture scenes as envisioned
7. Engage in post-production processes, working closely with editors and colorists to ensure the visual tone and style are maintained
8. Work closely with the post-production team to ensure the visual tone and style are consistent and high-quality

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in both directing and cinematography, with a portfolio showcasing your work in film, television, or related media
2. Strong creative vision and storytelling abilities, with an eye for detail
3. Technical expertise in camera operation, lighting, and other cinematographic techniques
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring and managing a diverse team
5. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements
6. A degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, Directing, or a related field is preferred
7. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to varying shooting conditions
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills
