
About the Role
We’re hiring a BDE – Bidder to drive growth by acquiring new clients through Upwork and LinkedIn. You’ll be the first touchpoint for potential clients — from finding leads to writing winning proposals and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients on Upwork, LinkedIn, and other B2B platforms relevant to IT/digital services.
2. Proposal Writing: Craft customized, compelling proposals, cover letters, and responses to RFPs that showcase our strengths.
3. Client Communication: Handle initial client calls, understand requirements, follow up on bids, and maintain CRM records.
4. Profile Optimization: Manage and optimize Upwork/LinkedIn company profiles to improve visibility and invite rates.
5. Relationship Building: Nurture leads, maintain long-term client relationships, and identify upsell opportunities.
6. Coordination: Work with tech and delivery teams to scope projects, estimate timelines, and ensure smooth handover.
Must-Have Skills
* 12+ months experience in bidding on Upwork for IT/digital services
* Strong command of written English — persuasive proposal writing
* Understanding of web/app development, digital marketing, or SaaS services
* Experience with LinkedIn outreach, InMail, and connection strategies
* Excellent negotiation and follow-up skills
