Responsibilities and Duties
1. Should be able to proactively make contacts with the clients and approach the right people for requirement gathering and meet them regularly even after stabilization to ensure customer satisfaction.
2. Should be able to quickly develop the right rapport with the client and communicate effectively and efficiently with the client.
3. Should be able to plan and execute requirement gathering.
4. Should be able to analyse and document the requirements in the form of a BRD
5. Should be able to get a sign off from the customer for all the requirements documented before it is shared with the internal teams for further development.
6. Should be able to develop any other documentation like the As-Is, To-Be, FRS, SRS, Business Blueprint, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Risk Assessment and Mitigation Plan, Communication Matrix, etc. as required by the client with support and guidance from the other senior members of the team.
7. Acts as liaison between client and internal teams including the development, testing, tech support, operations, etc.
8. Should be able to discuss the requirement with the internal teams to conceptualize the requirements and detail it to the internal teams so as arrive at a clear-cut picture of what needs to be developed as a solution for the customer.
9. Should be able to use the provided BA tools and build wireframes, process flow diagrams, etc. with ease as a part of the documentation and understanding of the internal teams.
10. Should be conversant with the agile practices of scrum and would need to be playing the role of a product owner for a particular product.
11. Would be required to work with the internal teams to get the solution developed as per the requirement of the customer as the BA is primarily responsible for delivering the same to the customer.
12. To ensure customer satisfaction and quick delivery, it would be required for you to reduce unnecessary rework due to requirement mismatch, etc.
13. You would be responsible to clarify/get clarifications to all queries from internal teams in co-ordination with customer.
14. Once the development and testing is complete, you would be required to test the release in UAT environment to ensure the same is in line/as expected by customer and provide a sign off for release into production.
15. You would be required to provide the necessary feedback to internal teams on improvement in terms of usability & simplifying process.
16. Communicating release to client, providing the necessary demos and taking a sign off from customer for every release.
17. Monitoring and tracking new requirements/changes required/bugs/tickets to ensure that things are moving smoothly and there are no unnecessary delays.
18. Attending to client status review meetings and fielding all the queries from the customer effectively and efficiently.
19. Presenting monthly, Periodic project status to all stakeholders as and when necessary.
20. Author User Manuals for the products and solutions as necessary and update the same when changes are made.
21. Provide necessary training on product to customer, and internal teams as may be necessary.
22. Should be able to work with the business development teams for the product pitches and product demos.
23. Should be able to draft the proposal documents for the products and prepare any product presentations for new pitches.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. A basic degree with an MBA or a technical degree in computer science.
2. Should be able to communicate fluently in English, Hindi and Kannada and good written communication in English is a must.
3. A working knowledge of the JIRA tool for the purpose would be an added advantage.
