Qualifications

• 0- 6 months with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Internship or brief experience in any of the following will be an advantage:
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in bash scripting and CI/CD pipelines
• -Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and their integration with CI/CD. Proficiency in working with configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, etc.). Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure (most preferred) or AWS, GCP, and a strong desire to leverage cloud services
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across the development and production environments
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), etc.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.)
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies and their application in a fast-paced development environment
• Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps and experience implementing security controls
• Previous experience in containerization strategies, microservices architecture, and serverless computing
