Audit Strategy & Planning

• Develop and maintain the annual audit plan and scope, using risk assessments and stakeholder input
• Evaluate current and emerging risks to ensure audit coverage evolves with business changes

Execution of Internal Audits

• Lead audits end-to-end—from scoping and testing to issue identification and follow-up en.
• Perform control testing, data analytics, SOX/Basel/Dodd‑Frank/FDIC/SEC compliance audits as required

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

• Prepare clear audit reports with actionable observations and recommended remediation plans
• Present findings to management and the Audit Committee; ensure timely follow-up on action plans

Control Framework & Governance Support

• Enhance internal controls, ensuring alignment with COSO, IIA standards, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in ERM, SOX certification, and new system/control implementation advisory .

Team Leadership & Development

• Mentor, coach, and supervise audit teams; manage third-party auditors or specialists when needed .
• Organize training on audit standards/tools (e.g., ACL, SharePoint, AuditBoard)

Continuous Improvement & Quality Assurance

• Drive audit process improvements and automation initiatives
• Maintain audit quality, perform or oversee periodic peer/external reviews

Ad-Hoc Projects & Advisory Services

• Conduct special investigations, fraud reviews, system roll-out evaluations, and other targeted engagements
