Job Summary

The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations across departments, delivering excellent service, and achieving organizational goals. This role involves supervising staff, managing workflows, and stepping in for the GM when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, monitor workflow, and step in for the GM when needed.
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff; manage performance and build a high‑performing team.
• Create schedules, coordinate shifts, and manage inventory and supplies.
• Resolve customer or staff escalations promptly, aligning with company policy.
• Assist with budgeting, monitor spending, and contribute to financial planning.
• Maintain compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulations.
• Support strategic planning, staff meetings, and implementation of business goals.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience: Several years in supervisory or management roles; industry-specific experience is often preferred.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong interpersonal, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Analytical & Financial Acumen: Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and support operational improvements.
• Problem‑Solving & Decision‑Making: Quick, effective decision-making in fast-paced environments.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail.
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with MS Office, CRM tools, POS systems, or similar software.
• Customer Service Focus: Committed to providing excellent service and resolving issues promptly.
