Job title: Area Sales Manager
Job Summary:
Study the assigned area in detail, identify key market points, major players, key decision makers etc. Research to identify market-driving points and leverage them in relationship building and market creation.
To recognize the sales target, create a market visit plan, route mapping, and client target plan and train the executives to follow and execute the planning.
Employing various techniques to develop new dealers/distributors/partners using upselling and cross-selling techniques to drive the growth.
To be actively involved in sales training sessions, to learn various techniques and implement them on the field via sales executives.
To represent the company by being a part of various local-level business groups and events.
Identification of probable distributors, collecting data and supporting managers in the distributor appointment process.
Exploring secondary market development and involvement in secondary sales enablement as and when needed in order to develop a good network in the market.
To review daily reports of the team, monitor their performance, prepare detailed reports and submit the reports to the senior management.
To follow the designed sales systems and processes, use of all the forms and formats, and follow sales SOPs while doing the job.
To take product-related inputs from the market and coordinate the same with the senior management in the review meets.
To timely fill the sales MIS, evaluate it and submit to management.
To follow the HR policies, rules and regulations of the company
