​An Area Loss Prevention Officer in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is responsible for safeguarding company assets, minimizing losses, and ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols across multiple locations within a designated region. This role involves implementing loss prevention strategies, conducting investigations, and collaborating with various departments to maintain a secure environment.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loss Prevention Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive loss prevention policies and procedures tailored to the FMCG industry.​
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and establish effective mitigation strategies.​
  • Surveillance and Monitoring:
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of surveillance systems, including CCTV, across all facilities within the area.​
  • Monitor real-time footage to detect suspicious activities and potential security breaches.​
  • Investigations and Reporting:
  • Lead investigations into theft, fraud, and other security incidents, collaborating with law enforcement when necessary.​Velents

  • Staff Training and Development:
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on loss prevention techniques, emergency response protocols, and security awareness.​

Qualifications:

  • Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of loss prevention techniques, security systems, and investigative procedures.​
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.​
