Their primary focus is on testing and validating the data collection, reporting, and analysis processes to guarantee that the analytics platform provides reliable and actionable insights for the business • Engaged in Functional, Non-functional, API, and UAT testing for Adobe Analytics, and Google Analytics testing.
• Utilize debugger tools such as Adobe Experience Platform debugger to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data transmission.
• Data Validation - Verify the below criteria for each tag, testing both page load and event-triggered tags to ensure accuracy of data transmitted to Adobe Analytics
• Adobe Analytics tags are present and firing as expected. All analytics variables are set. o Variables values are set and in the right format.
• Issues Documentation - Document identified issues related to AA tagging using tagging plans provided by Digital Insights team, and Maintain a comprehensive record of identified problems for reference and resolution tracking.
• User Journey Testing - should be able to learn and familiarize various user journeys across multiple applications in acceptable timeline given and execute testing procedures on different user journeys to validate data accuracy and adherence to tagging plans.
• Collaborate with Developers to address and resolve tagging issues discovered during the UAT phase and provide clear and concise communication regarding identified problems and collaborate on effective solutions.
• Regarding data collection, proficiencies needed in tag management systems, data layers, and SDK integrations. Review and ensure tracking codes are deployed correctly and data collection adheres to governance standards.
• Be an SME on Adobe Analytics technology trends and platforms, collaborate with other team members. • Establish and maintain data quality standards. Regularly audit data accuracy and tracking implementations to ensure compliance with data governance guidelines.
• Help the project manager with task development, project planning, risk identification and mitigation planning and help evolve the software development methodology.
• RCA for data anomalies and recommendations to fix it.
• Ensure technical issues are quickly resolved, implement strategies and solutions to mitigate, create framework via hands-on coding/configuration and interface with client architects.
• Provide an assessment of obstacles and technical hurdles to the success of the project
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in an accelerated fashion leveraging various toolsets in Adobe Analytics space.
• Support tracking prioritization and ongoing roadmap of Analytics improvements.
• Support the implementation of JavaScript, validate and debug tag implementation of marketing tags and analytics tracking.
• Actively participate in the identification of new ideas by monitoring tracking, analysing performance, identifying areas of improvement, and recommending ways to improve on a daily basis.
Skills and Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in digital analytics, with at least 3-5 years focused on Adobe Analytics
• Experience with various channel web, app, advertisement is preferred
• Retail experience is a plus for the role.
• Strong business acumen, combined with a customer-centric approach in identifying, developing, and enabling deep actionable insights to improve the digital experience for customers and prospects
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple, time-sensitive deliverables and competing priorities
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, manage projects, and collaborate across functions.
