Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain pricing models using actuarial techniques for various GI products (e.g., motor, property, health, commercial lines).
• Analyze portfolio performance, claims trends, and rate adequacy to support pricing recommendations.
• Apply statistical and predictive modeling techniques to assess risk and improve pricing accuracy.
• Collaborate with underwriting and product teams on new product pricing and rate reviews.
• Support implementation of advanced analytics tools and techniques in pricing workflows.
• Monitor pricing performance and loss ratios; prepare management reports and dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal actuarial guidelines.
• Mentor junior analysts and support knowledge-sharing across the actuarial pricing team.

Qualifications:

• Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in GI actuarial pricing roles.
• Progress in actuarial exams (preferably 7+ papers from IFoA/SoA or IAI).
• Strong technical skills in tools such as Emblem, Radar, Excel, R, Python, or SAS.
• Sound knowledge of actuarial techniques (GLMs, frequency-severity models, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in personal and commercial lines pricing.
• Exposure to reinsurance pricing or reserving would be an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of Solvency II / IFRS 17 (optional but beneficial).
