Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Actuarial Consultant with 1-2 years of experience in the life insurance industry, specializing in Valuation. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Valuation:
- Perform regular valuation of life insurance liabilities in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and actuarial memos.
- Conduct experience analysis and update actuarial assumptions for valuation purposes.
- Support the implementation of new valuation methodologies and regulatory changes.
Key Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of actuarial experience in a life insurance company, with a focus on Pricing or Valuation.
- Progress towards actuarial certification (e.g., ASA, FIA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in actuarial software and tools (e.g., Excel, VBA, Prophet, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
