Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance:
- Maintain general ledger and manage day-to-day accounting operations.
- Prepare and process vendor bills, customer invoices, and payments.
- Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and journal entries.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
Operations Support:
- Assist in streamlining finance-related operational processes across departments.
- Coordinate with procurement, admin, and vendor teams for purchase and service orders.
- Help prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models for decision-making.
Taxation & Compliance:
- Handle GST returns, TDS filings, and other tax-related documentation (adjust per location).
- Ensure timely statutory compliance and assist with tax audits.
- Stay updated on regulatory and compliance requirements impacting the business.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA/CA Inter preferred).
- Experience: 2–5 years in accounting, finance, operations, or tax roles.
- Skills:
- Proficient in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or SAP).
- Strong MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, financial models).
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in cross-functional roles across finance and operations.
- Familiarity with ERP and automation tools.
- Exposure to handling ROC filings and company law compliance (bonus).
