Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately annotate 3D LiDAR point cloud data using internal or third-party labeling tools.
• Identify and label objects such as vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, road features, and environmental elements within LiDAR datasets.
• Ensure high-quality data labeling aligned with project guidelines and quality standards.
• Work with QA teams to review and correct annotation errors.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to understand annotation requirements and refine labeling strategies.
• Report tool bugs, suggest workflow improvements, and participate in team feedback sessions.
• Meet daily or weekly annotation quotas while maintaining accuracy.

Requirements:

• Experience with 3D LiDAR annotation or 2D/3D image labeling (experience with tools like Labelbox, Supervisely, CVAT, or proprietary platforms is a plus).
• Familiarity with LiDAR point clouds and concepts such as segmentation, bounding boxes, and object tracking.
• Basic understanding of autonomous driving or robotic perception systems is preferred.
• Ability to interpret project-specific labeling guidelines and apply them consistently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.
• Basic computer proficiency (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
• [Optional] Bachelor’s degree or coursework in Computer Science, Geospatial Science, GIS, Robotics, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a data labeling or annotation environment for machine learning.
• Knowledge of 3D coordinate systems and point cloud data formats (e.g., .pcd, .las, .bin).
• Python or scripting experience for basic data handling or visualization.
• Familiarity with LiDAR sensors (Velodyne, Ouster, Hesai, etc.).
