Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Supply Chain Engineer to join our Operations team. As a Supply Chain Engineer, you will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyses and optimize supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, production planning, and distribution.
2. Utilize tools such as supply chain modelling software, demand forecasting tools, and inventory optimization software to analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement.
3. Assist in the design and implementation of strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and improve supply chain responsiveness.
4. Conduct supplier evaluations, negotiate contracts, and develop relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
5. Support the implementation of lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain.
6. Participate in the development of supply chain metrics and KPIs to monitor performance and drive improvements.
7. Provide support for logistics operations, including transportation management, routing optimization, and warehouse management.
8. Collaborate with IT teams to implement and integrate supply chain management systems and technologies.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in supply chain management practices and technologies.
10. Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders.
Expected Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Good technical aptitude and communication skills.
2. Good problem-solving abilities.
3. Fluent in English. Multilingual is preferable.
4. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
5. Good presentation skills.
6. Should be able to travel for business purposes.
7. Knowledge of supply chain concepts, including inventory management, demand forecasting, production planning, and logistics.
8. Familiarity with lean principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
9. Experience with CAD software is a plus.
10. Should have knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Excel, Statistical Analysis Software, and Supply Chain Management Software
Expected Qualification:
Completed Bachelor or Master Degree with minimum 7.0 CGPA in one of the below disciplines:
• Supply-chain Management
• Production Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
