A Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for a company
Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:
Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and target markets
Building relationships with potential clients and partners to generate new business
Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and market share
Negotiating and closing deals with clients and partners
Representing the company at trade shows, events, and networking opportunities
Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and reporting to management on progress and performance
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments to inform new business strategies
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are critical, as well as the ability to think strategically and creatively to identify new business opportunities
Proficiency in data analysis and experience using CRM software is also preferred
