Key Responsibilities:

Pharmaceutical Care & Dispensing:

• Review and validate prescriptions for accuracy, proper dosage, and potential drug interactions.
• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications safely and efficiently.
• Provide clear and accurate counseling on medication use, side effects, and storage instructions.
• Offer guidance on general health, wellness, and minor medical conditions.

Regulatory Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date records of prescriptions, controlled substances, and patient interactions.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure proper documentation and adherence to policies.

Customer Service & Patient Care:

• Assist customers with medication-related inquiries and recommend suitable OTC products.
• Educate patients on chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).
• Handle customer concerns, complaints, and prescription issues professionally.

Inventory & Store Management:

• Monitor stock levels, order medications, and manage expiry dates to prevent shortages or waste.
• Ensure proper storage of medications as per regulatory guidelines.
• Work closely with suppliers and wholesalers to ensure a steady supply of essential drugs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
