Production Supervisor – Sheet-Metal / Welding Line

Location: Gujarat plant (Vadodara / Becharaji / Vithalapur)

Experience: 3–5 years in auto-components manufacturing

Number of Openings: ~2

Reports To: Line Manager / Unit Manager

Role Summary:

Oversee day-to-day production operations on the sheet-metal or welded assemblies line, ensuring output, quality and safety targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor production line output, troubleshoot bottlenecks and reduce downtime.

• Ensure components meet specification (tolerances, weld quality) before dispatch.

• Work closely with planning, maintenance & quality teams to meet daily targets.

• Enforce safety and housekeeping protocols (ISO 45001 / factory standards).

• Maintain production records, shift reports and improvement logs.

• Mentor operators and trainees in line operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Production / Automobile or equivalent.

• 3+ years experience working in auto-components or manufacturing plant; exposure to press/weld assembly preferred.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean tools and quality metrics.

• Good communication (Hindi/Gujarati) and team-management ability.

Preferred:

• Experience with high-tensile steel/BIW components or automated welding lines.

• Proficiency in shop floor ERP / MIS systems.
