We are seeking a Techno-Functional Presales Consultant to bridge the gap between technology and business needs. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in understanding client requirements, demonstrating product capabilities, and assisting in solution design. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills to support sales teams and engage with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Presales & Solutioning:
- Work closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and provide technical and functional guidance.
- Conduct requirement analysis and map client needs to the company’s solutions.
- Prepare and deliver demos, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and technical presentations tailored to client use cases.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to create customized solutions when necessary.
2. Technical & Functional Expertise:
- Understand and explain the functionalities, features, and benefits of the company’s products to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Assist in the design, architecture, and integration of solutions within the clients existing systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to provide strategic input.
3. Documentation & Proposal Writing:
- Prepare technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and solution documents to support sales efforts.
- Develop solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and workflow documentation for client presentations.
- Provide inputs on pricing, licensing, and feasibility based on client requirements.
4. Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by demonstrating how the company’s solutions can address their pain points.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and webinars for potential clients and partners.
- Gather feedback from clients and work with product teams to suggest improvements.
5. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with sales, marketing, product management, and engineering teams to refine offerings.
- Provide feedback to development teams on customer needs and market demands.
- Support post-sales teams in smooth handovers for implementation and deployment.
Required Skills & Experience:
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with enterprise software, SaaS, cloud computing, databases, APIs, and integrations.
- Strong knowledge of ERP, CRM, BI tools, or other relevant enterprise solutions.
- Understanding of software architecture, system design, and implementation.
- Proficiency in SQL, scripting, or programming languages (optional but a plus).
Functional Skills:
- Deep understanding of business processes across industries like finance, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, etc.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa.
- Strong presentation, storytelling, and client-facing communication skills.
General Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in presales, solution consulting, or a similar role.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Business.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Willingness to travel (as required) for client meetings, workshops, and demos.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Certifications in relevant technologies (AWS, Azure, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Experience working in B2B SaaS, Enterprise IT, or Consulting domains.
- Knowledge of AI, ML, or automation tools relevant to enterprise solutions.
