We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Postman Testing Specialist to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining automated and manual API test cases using Postman. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA professionals to ensure the reliability and performance of our APIs and backend services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, write, and execute test cases for RESTful APIs using Postman.
• Develop and maintain Postman collections and environments.
• Automate API tests using Postman’s scripting capabilities (JavaScript).
• Integrate Postman test scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze API responses and report bugs or inconsistencies with detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine testing strategies.
• Maintain test data and configurations for consistent and repeatable testing.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in API testing and Postman features.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in API testing, preferably using Postman.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, headers, and status codes.
• Hands-on experience with Postman scripting (JavaScript).
• Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger or OpenAPI.
• Experience working with version control tools like Git.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools and how API tests can be integrated into pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other API testing tools (e.g., SoapUI, Insomnia, JMeter).
• Exposure to backend programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java).
• Familiarity with performance/load testing of APIs.
• Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, and API security principles.
